MetaOasis: Connecting the Game Publishing Platform of web2&3

Project Introduction

MetaOasis is a futuristic multiplayer online game with a sci-fi theme, but it is not just a game, it is also a multi-game platform, a metaverse world. Players will not only experience the main game content provided by MetaOasis, based on the MetaOasis platform, but also experience various sub-game worlds or pan-entertainment worlds. The goal of MetaOasis is to guide players and developers through the vast desert between web2 and web3 to reach new oases. Metaoasis won the first place in the Metaverse Hackathon in 2022 and earned the title of GameFi Track Winner.

Features

As a publishing platform, MetaOasis has mature process details for introducing both self-developed main games and ecological games from cooperative studios on the platform. In addition to the conventional Web3 wallet connection process, it also provides a familiar centralized registration process for Web2 users, without any additional learning costs before players truly enter the game.

In terms of payments, MetaOasis has implemented a "buffer token" mechanism within the game, compatible with the traditional game's In-App Purchase (IAP) channel. The price of the buffer token (similar to the commonly used diamonds in games) is stable and supports withdrawals. This provides users with a familiar and comfortable environment in the early stages, allowing them to focus more on the game experience and the revolution brought by blockchain technology to the game. It provides familiar channels for web2 users in terms of payment methods, and the design also aims to alleviate the loss anxiety of web2 users as much as possible in terms of risk control.

At the same time, MetaOasis has established MetaOasis Labs to help developers focus on the game itself. Regardless of whether developers have blockchain development experience, they can deploy games by providing an integrated SDK for MetaOasis Labs targeting multiple engines and platforms, saving a lot of blockchain development time. The integrated SDK of MetaOasis Labs includes a series of APIs for convenient login and payment for web2 users, as well as in-game account information, achievements, and social systems.

Financing Situation

MetaOasis DAO was established in 2021 and received a total of $1.5 million in financing in the seed round in July 2022. Investors include: Huobi, LD Capital, DAO Maker, MH Capital, FBG, Anypad, Metaverse Alliance, DCI Capital, Itsblockchain VC, and others.

Token Information

The governance token for MetaOasis is MTOS, with a total supply of 2 billion. It is mainly used for staking DAO voting rights at various levels of the game to obtain dividend rights, determine the construction (joining) and destruction (exiting) of special planets, determine the development direction of MetaOasis, and determine the main suppliers of assets and designs.
