How trust does people have in AI agent KOLs?

According to a recent survey, at least 1 in 4 people expressed high trust in the AI agent’s key opinion leaders (KOLs) or influencers on crypto-tweets (CT). Of these 26.6% of respondents, 13.5% believed that they could basically trust the AI agent KOL and 13.1% trusted them completely.

By comparison, 21.4% of respondents expressed high trust in the live KOLs on encrypted Twitter, with a slightly lower proportion. 10.0% basically trust the KOL accounts run by live on CT, while 11.4% think they can trust them completely.

Overall, only a few respondents have high trust in the KOLs on crypto Twitter. Although AI agent KOLs have only recently attracted mainstream attention, they seem to have surpassed the original human KOLs in terms of credibility. People have relatively high trust in AI agents, probably because people believe that AI agents have fewer personal biases, and trust in human KOLs may gradually weaken over time.

The remaining 73.4% to 78.4% of respondents said they had limited trust in encrypted Twitter KOLs.

19.8% of respondents completely distrust AI agent KOLs, while a slightly higher 21.2% of respondents completely distrust human KOLs. Another 21.1% of respondents have a little trust in AI agent KOLs, and 23.2% of respondents have a little trust in human KOLs.

About one-third of respondents believe they can trust encrypted KOLs to a certain extent, which is the most common point in the survey. Specifically, 32.5% of participants said they trusted more AI agent KOLs on crypto Twitter, while 34.3% of participants had the same sense of trust in real-person KOLs.

Trust in AI Agent KOLs and Live KOLs

Up to 62.0% of participants have the same level of trust in AI agent KOLs and live KOLs. This shows that at least three-fifths of participants did not distinguish between AI and live KOLs to the extent to which they trusted encrypted Twitter KOLs.

For example, 13.8% of participants completely distrust AI agent KOLs or live KOLs, while 9.2% of participants fully trust AI and live KOLs.

Again, moderate trust in cryptocurrency KOLs accounted for the largest proportion, becoming the most consistent sentiment: 22.0% of participants (one in five) said that they had some trust whether cryptocurrency KOLs were artificial intelligence or humans.

Meanwhile, 22.6% of participants said that their trust in AI agent KOLs is higher than that of human KOLs. For example, 3.4% of the participants completely distrust human KOLs, but still have some trust in AI proxy KOLs.

On the other hand, 15.4% of participants expressed the opposite view, and they trusted more human KOLs than AI agents. Among them, 4.5% of the participants had low trust in the artificial intelligence agent KOL, but believed that they could trust human KOLs to a certain extent.
