Fidelity’s spot Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs both hit largest single-day net outflows

01/09/2025·1MPANews reported on January 9 that Fidelity’s spot Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs hit their largest single-day net outflows on Wednesday, according to The Block citing SoSoValue data. The total net outflow of spot Bitcoin ETFs reached US$582 million, of which Fidelity’s FBTC recorded a net outflow of US$259 million. At the same time, Ethereum spot ETF net outflows totaled $159 million, of which Fidelity’s FETH accounted for $148 million.
Other funds such as BlackRock’s IBIT, Ark and 21Shares’ ARKB also recorded net outflows of over US$124 million and US$148 million respectively. Despite the historic outflows, Fidelity’s ETF maintained the second-largest cumulative net inflows among spot Bitcoin and Ethereum funds.
