MPs of South Dakota and Kentucky State proposed to propose Bitcoin reserve legislation

Panews News on January 29th, according to a statement on January 28, legislators in Kentucky and South Dakota are preparing to propose legislation of Bitcoin reserves in the next few weeks.

Logan Manhart, a member of Nanda, announced that he will put forward a bill in the House of Representatives of the Southern Dakota to establish a strategic Bitcoin reserve. He added that this is one of the "minority opportunities" that the government has taken the initiative.

At the same time, TJ Roberts, a member of Kentucky, said he would put forward similar legislation in the first week of returning General Assembly.

It is understood that Wyoming and Massachusetts are the nearest two states in eight states that have launched Bitcoin related legislation since December 2024.
